How We Handle Your Transcriptions:

At First-Aide MTS, Inc. we strive to be 100% HIPAA compliant so that the information that passes through our hands is kept with the utmost security in mind while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Each employee and officer is required to sign a HIPAA confidentiality agreement with us before they are granted any access to our systems.

Network and Web Site Security:

When you log in to your personal web portal, all information that is sent and received by you will be automatically encrypted with a 256 bit RSA cypher. All intranet transfers are done over a 2048 bit 3DES encrypted network so that your files will always be secure on our servers. All of our servers are in secured facilities with limited access and constant monitoring, both on the network and physically. Our system and network administrators are skilled in numerous Information Technology, networking and security fields to ensure the integrity of our network and your files.

HIPAA:

On April 14, 2003, the federal privacy rule for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) became effective, creating a federal standard for the privacy and security of health information. This federal standard requires that all covered entities (DHS included) train all members of their workforce on HIPAA and DHS privacy policies and procedures.
